Demonstrations of the extension, developed by partner Spatial Business Systems (SBS), will be held at the 2015 DistribuTECH Conference and Exhibition.

Bothell, Wash.–EagleView Technology Corporation, a leading technology provider of aerial imagery, data analytics and GIS solutions, announced that company partner, Spatial Business Systems, in an ongoing effort to help customers broaden their usage of Pictometry® Intelligent Imagery® has developed a CONNECT™ extension for GE’s Smallworld GIS.

“We’re excited to see this solution being offered to Smallworld users,” said Jim Murray, regional vice president, Pictometry infrastructure solutions. “Making Intelligent Imagery available throughout the organization allows companies to leverage the investments they make in technology and the information that supports it. Utilities rely on Pictometry image solutions to save time and increase efficiencies when validating and assessing assets. This integration makes it easier than ever to access imagery and data from within existing workflows.”

“The Pictometry extension for Smallworld GIS allows utilities to work smarter in areas such as maintenance, inspection and vegetation management. This advanced integration solution allows them to reduce operations costs and improve reliability by having Pictometry’s rich imagery tightly integrated with their GIS data,” said Dennis Beck, CEO, Spatial Business Systems.

Demonstrations of the new SBS extension are scheduled in the Pictometry Intelligent Images booth at DistribuTECH 2015, booth #3930, for 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3 and 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4.
