Introduction to SDS Physical for AutoCAD (P4A)

This session covers a general overview of P4A and some of its capabilities. Those will include the new AUDEXTRACT command, feature placement and port snapping, the AUD copy and paste commands, adding and modifying feature data, validation and resolution tools, generating bill of materials, lighting protection and clearance checks, creating 2D print sheets and AUD table creation, and externally referencing (XREF) drawings into the P4A model space. We will also be touching on Geolocating a P4A drawing and creating civil 3D surfaces.

SDS Physical for Inventor (P4I): Part Automation & SDS Part Tools 

This session covers the basics of P4I cable and bus placement, along with advanced placement using specialized tools. Additional topics will include SDS automation for component placement, as well as SDS part tools such as the SDS Pipe Bus Tool, SDS Tool Cable Loop, SDS Tool Lightning WorkPoints, and the SDS Tool Cable WorkPoints Slider.
